What is one unique thing that attracted you to CSM?
I really love the fact that CSM is a Catholic university…It allows me to focus on my faith while also pursuing my degree. I truly believe it fosters spirituality and the desire to give back among the students.
What is one of your favorite things about CSM?
I love the small campus setting because it makes it easier to be involved and pursue my passions…I was even able to start a few student organizations to promote these causes with The Green Team to focus on the environment and the Multicultural Association of Students (MAS) to promote cultural awareness and understanding…It’s also great because everyone knows your name...
How have you changed since coming to CSM?
I know I’ve become more confident and not afraid to stand up and become a leader…I’ve also gained a lot of experience in the classroom, on campus and in the community that I know will benefit me later in life…and I don’t know if that would have happened on a larger campus or in a co-ed environment…
