"HEART OF ITALY"

 

Rome ¯ Vatican City ¯Assisi ¯ Siena ¯ Florence  

 

  

The College of Saint Mary Chorus and Musica Sacra, the community chorus based at CSM,  traveled to Italy during Spring Break 2008.  Choir members sang for Mass at St. Peter's Basilica and the Tomb of St. Francis.  The CSM choirs also sang for our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, during his weekly general audience.  Concerts in Florence and Rome, visits to museums and ancient landmarks, and pilgrimages to sacred sites of the Christian faith completed this once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunity. 

  

Friends of the college joined the "Presidential Tour," participating fully in the itinerary and enjoying the musical offerings.
