College of Saint Mary participates in the National Survey of Student
Engagement on a regular basis.  Below is the results from CSM's participation in the 2009 survey.  We have plans in place to participate again during the Spring of 2012. Results of that survey will be published in the Fall of 2012.


CSM ranks well among students on national survey 

In the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) for spring 2009, College of Saint Mary received very positive remarks in relation to other institutions in the country.  

This national survey, which was launched in 2003 to poll first-year and senior students, asks students to answer questions about the nature and quality of their undergraduate experience.  

The results compare CSM's student responses to those from 14 women's colleges, 29 small private colleges with missions similar to CSM, and 75 small private colleges who also participated in this edition of the survey.
