Nicole Wall,
Forensic
Biology Instructor, College of Saint Mary
Nicole Wall holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Anthropology and a
Master of Forensic Science degree. She
has served as a physical anthropologist on Nebraska homicides and has served as an
autopsy assistant at Nebraska Forensic Medical Services, P.C. She is currently
an instructor for Introduction of Forensic Science, Human Anatomy and
Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Biology with the College of Saint Mary.
Wall is also working with coordination efforts focusing on Problem- Based
Learning Curriculum at UNMC and remains a contracted research and program
associate with the Heartland Center for Leadership Development.

Sally
Bisson, J.D.
Associate
Professor and Director of Paralegal Studies
Sally Bisson is an attorney and associate professor with 15 years
experience in legal education. She received her law degree from the University
of Nebraska College of Law and teaches courses in litigation, family law, real
estate and law office technology. A
member of the Omaha and Nebraska Bar Associations,
she also serves as a textbook reviewer for legal publishers and is a nationally
published author of articles on the legal profession. Professor Bisson looks forward to providing
students in the Legal Eagles summer camp the chance to explore the legal
profession as an active participant in a mock trial.

Sharon R.
Redding, MN, RN, CNE
Associate
Professor of Nursing, College of Saint Mary
Redding has over 35 years of teaching
experience as a nursing professional.
She has expertise in both classroom and clinical settings with a focus
on maternal-child nursing. Redding's experience includes having been
a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa in the countries of Chad and Liberia; a nurse educator for Project
HOPE in Brazil for 8 years; and teaching graduate courses in
cross-cultural perspectives in health care during summer study tours abroad to
countries such a China, Kenya and Portugal.
Service-learning activities are of particular interest to Redding, and she is an active community
volunteer.

Nicole Lopez-Schaecher,
Graduate
Nursing Student, College of Saint Mary
In 2006,
Nicole Lopez-Schaecher began working as a nurse at Methodist Hospital on the cardiac care unit. In May
2008, she will graduate with her bachelors in nursing from College of Saint Mary. Before completing her ASN, she
was a health educator for 10 years. In her career she worked in many low income
and diverse communities to provide appropriate health care and education in the
areas of oncology and cardiovascular. As a nurse, she is able to incorporate
both her nursing and health education degrees to enhance patient care and
outcomes. Currently she is a member of the American Critical Care Association,
Public Health Association of Nebraska, and the Pneumonia and Skin Assessment
committees at Methodist Hospital.

Carolina
Molina Martin was born in Madrid, Spain. She has a BA in Teacher Basic
Education and a MA in Modern Philology from the Universidad Complutense de
Madrid, Spain. She has a particular interest in
learning and teaching languages. She loves traveling, reading and practicing
sports. She has taught all levels of Spanish in Spain, Ireland, England, The Netherlands, Turkey, Costa Rica and in Iowa and Nebraska in the United States. She is a member of the Nebraska
International Languages Association (NILA), Nebraska Educational Technology
Association (NETA), Central States Conference Association and The American
Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).
In 2003, she received
the award of Outstanding Young Teacher of the Year by the Nebraska
International Languages Association (NILA).

Pat Purkhiser
Henry
Doorly Zoo Eco-Camp Instructor
Mr.
Purkhiser, seen here with Ginger the Spider Monkey baby in Costa Rica, brings his animal charisma and
knowledge to the newest CSM Camp. He hopes that his work at the Zoo with children
and animals will spill over into the camp and excite young girls about careers
as zoologists. Purkhiser earned his B.S. in Education in 1997 and a B.S. in Biology
from UNO in 1997. In 2001, he earned his M.S. in Education from Peru State. He has taught in
Papillion-LaVista since 1997 and has been active in educational outreach at the
Zoo as an Academy Instructor, an Eco-Camp
Instructor and even a Zoo Volunteer. When he's not on dry land, this PADI
Master SCUBA Instructor is a Dive Safety Officer at the HDZ Aquarium.

Barb Simpson

Simpson
is an Omaha native who holds a National Pool Operators license and is
a certified U.S.S. swimming stroke and turn judge. Simpson is currently College of Saint Mary's Aquatic Director and Campus
Wellness Coordinator. She began working for Millard Public Schools in 1986 as
the district swimming coordinator and has taught over 7000 children and adults
to swim. Simpson has co-partnered an adaptive swim school for 15 years and
coaches Special Olympics.

Kevin Lein,

Coach
Lein enters his 10th year as a women's head coach with a 185-132 overall record
that includes three conference championships, four sub-district 12
championships and three appearances in the NAIA National Tournament, finishing
third, second and in the elite eight in 2005. Prior to coming to CSM, he was
the head women's coach for six years at Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU) in Mitchell, SD after serving as the men's
assistant coach for seven years. Prior to his position at DWU, he served as the
head women's coach at Mount Marty and won numerous awards and
honors including being named the Io-Kota Conference Coach-of-the-Year, the GPAC
coach-of-the-year and the South Dakota Women's College, which included all
women's collegiate sports in the state, Coach-of-the-Year twice. Lein is a
graduate of Mount Marty (English/ journalism) and
USD(Master's HPER, B.S. Elementary Education, Doctoral Candidate, Ed.D) .
As a player, the CSM Flames coach was a
two-time All District 12 guard and NAIA honorable mention All American at Mount Marty (1978-81). Lein still holds every
assist record at Mount Marty and he and his wife Amy were
inducted together into the Mount Marty Hall of Fame in 2005.

Hokenson
Volleyball Coach, College of Saint Mary
Amanda Hokenson has just completed her second season as Head
Volleyball Coach at College of Saint Mary. Under her lead, the 2007 squad finished
with a 23-13 record. Prior to Hokenson's arrival at CSM, she served
as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Dakota Wesleyan University in
Mitchell, SD. Hokenson played outside hitter for the Minnesota Golden Gophers
from 2001-2004, winning a Big Ten Championship and making two Final Four appearances.
While playing at Minnesota, Hokenson was actively involved
in the Anoka Juniors Volleyball Club and served as both an assistant coach and
head coach during her tenure.

Homan
Soccer Coach, College of Saint Mary
Homan coaches a strong Flames Soccer squad that in 2007 won the
MCAC Conference Championship and made it to the regional tournament. The
future looks very bright because in 2008 the flames return their impact
players and recruiting has gone very well.
Homan received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Creighton University and also has a US
Soccer A License. Since 1991, Homan has served as Head Girls Soccer Coach at Omaha's Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School. On the club level,
his Sabre team, part of the Gladiator Soccer Club, won the Nebraska State Girls
Championship three times; earned a third-place medal at the Region 2
Championships in 2001; and were nationally ranked. He is a former Nebraska State Director of
Coaching and earned collegiate experience as an assistant coach for Bellevue University in the mid-1990s.
