Admissions Process
  
The MSN program is designed to bring our students individualized mentoring and support. Graduates of our program will be able to take positions in higher education, continuing education, patient education and staff development. 

Please complete the following to be considered for admission into the College of Saint Mary Master of Science in Nursing program:   
MSN Grad
Step 1Complete the College of Saint Mary Graduate Admissions Application
  

Step 2Submit official college transcripts of all academic work
(with certified translations, for non-English transcripts) from which undergraduate grade-point averages can be computed 

Step 3Submit evidence of earned bachelor's degree in nursing 

Step 4Provide proof of English competency for international students for whom English is not the first language 

Step 5Submit a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or compact state

Step 6Submit an essay or scholarly writing demonstrating ability to do graduate level work. (Accepted work will have a rubric score of 3.0 or greater

Step 7Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater 

Step 8Submit two positive references. (Accepted student will have a rubric score of 3.0 or greater
