Wade specializes in nursing research and pediatric clinical care. In addition to her years teaching at College of Saint Mary, Wade has taught at Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, and Nebraska Wesleyan University. While at Michigan State University, she participated on 4 national research teams studying infant, toddler, and family behavior and health. Wade serves as a board member of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Gamma Pi At-Large Chapter and received the 2011 STTI Research Award for her study “The Effect of Infant Milk Soy Protein Intolerance (MSPI) on Maternal and Family Health Outcomes.” In addition to STTI, she is a member of the Midwest Nursing Research Society, Nebraska Nurses Association, and the American Nurses Association. She received her ASN from Northeast Community College (‘00), BSN from Creighton University (‘04), MSN from Nebraska Wesleyan University (‘06), and obtained her doctorate studies at Michigan State University and through CSM. Wade has been with CSM from 2005-2006 and 2009-present.
