The Business Information Systems (BIS) minor provides a solid foundation to support employment in the computer information technology field. The minor consists of 21 credit hours of business information systems courses. Internships may help students to attain experience in the information technology field when they have not had previous work experience in this area. The minor can be tailored to meet the needs of the student and the future employer by selecting different program course options. Some of our minor graduates have been placed in information technology positions ahead of their majors.
