 According to the U.S. Government's Bureau of Labor Statistics, the field of Applied Psychology and Human Services is expected to grow much faster than average over the next ten years and ranks among the most rapidly growing occupations in the United States. The field is demanding, requires patience and caring, yet is often very emotionally rewarding for the providers of human services.
The opportunities in the field are diverse, and include mental health settings, community shelters, child services, adoption, counseling services, addiction centers, homeless shelters, assisted living, job training and correctional facilities.
