A minor in chemistry is available to students who wish to enhance their knowledge in the foundational areas of chemistry. Chemical principles are found in a wide area of disciplines such as Biology, Environmental and Health Science, AND Food and Nutrition. A minor in Chemistry may be also helpful to non-chemistry majors wishing to develop a deeper understanding of their chosen majors and to prepare themselves for entrance into professional schools in the sciences.
Required Courses:
CHM 110, 111, 112, 113, 230, 231, 232, 233 and four hours of upper division CHM selected under the direction of the program director.
