The history minor includes preparation in both American and European history along with electives. This minor will be useful to those students preparing for law school, a career in the civil service, or just an outstanding way to understand how the world has arrived, for better and worse, at its present point.

It should also be added that the study of history is not only enlightening, but serves students well in the development of their critical thinking skills.

Required Courses:
18 hours of HPS courses. Courses must include HPS 131, 132, and either 375 or 376.
