The MSN program
is designed to bring our students individualized
mentoring and support. Graduates of our program
will be able to
take positions in higher education,
continuing education, patient
education and staff development.
Admission Criteria:
- Completed College of Saint
Mary Graduate application
- Official transcripts of all academic work (with certified
translations, for non-English transcripts) from which undergraduate
grade-point averages can be computed
- Proof of English competency for international students for whom
English is not the first language
- Submission of the following items:
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
in
Nebraska or compact state
- Essay or
scholarly writing demonstrating ability to do graduate level work.
(Accepted work will have a rubric score of
3.0 or greater)
c. Evidence
of earned bachelor's degree in nursing

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
e. Two
positive references. (Accepted student will have a rubric score of
3.0
