Hitter of the Week - - Veronica Barrientos! 

  

Sophomore middle blocker Veronica Barrientos of the College of Saint Mary has been named MCAC Women's Volleyball Hitter of the Week for the week ending Nov 9. 

  

Barrientos, a native of Omaha, NE, averaged 3.90 kills and 2.00 blocks per game over three matches last week for the Flames.  Barrientos, who posted a .538 hitting percentage for the week, had 15 kills and seven blocks in a 3-0 win over Haskell Indian Nations University on Friday.  Against Park University on Saturday, she had 16 kills, nine blocks and four digs. 

  

The Flames finished the regular season with a 13-19 overall record (7-7 MCAC).
