Biography:
I am from New England, having moved to Omaha in August of 2006. I was born in Winooski, Vermont and grew up in an ethnic community in which
French was spoken. I entered the Sisters
of Mercy right after my graduation from high school and began a career in
education. I was a Junior High teacher,
then I became a director of religious education for a deanery and later a
parish, I then served as a principal of an elementary school and began a
kindergarten which was extended a to a full-day session during my tenure. After these ministries I had the opportunity to
study for my doctorate, spending four years in Chicago and one year in Paris, France. After receiving my doctorate I taught at
a Mercy College in Burlington, VT which, unfortunately, closed in 2000. From 2000—2006 I was teaching at St.
Michael's College in Winooski Park, VT.
In addition to
teaching and full-time professional work I have extensive experience with the
RCIA and with Cursillo. I have given
several retreats for women and have given parish and group workshops on bible,
spirituality, and liturgy.
