Biography: 

Upon completion of my BSN degree I began working as a Public Health nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association in Iowa.  My specialty area is Community Health nursing and while working at the VNA, I was given the opportunity to complete my MSN degree with special emphasis on Community Health nursing and Administration.  I began teaching at the College of Saint Mary in 1990 with my primary focus being, Community Health Nursing and Management/Leadership in Nursing.  I also enjoy Geriatrics and continue to work part-time in a Geriatric Setting as well as in the Public Health sector.
