Our mission is to provide the highest level of safety and security for students, faculty, staff and visitors. This is accomplished by regular patrols of the campus, enforcement of CSM policies, ensuring all facilities are safe and properly secured, investigation of any crimes occurring on campus and the continuous assessment of our safety and security needs and programs. We work together with the University’s Facilities and Maintenance personnel to provide coverage 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, regarding all safety and security issues.

Meet the Security Staff
Access to Campus Facilities
All campus facilities are appropriately secured, monitored and patrolled by our staff. Persons wishing to enter any of building after hours must present the appropriate CSM I.D.
Escort Service
We want everyone on CSM’s campus to feel safe. At any time, students, faculty, staff and visitors may contact the Department to request an escort to/from their vehicles or to/from any location on campus.
