VICE
PRESIDENT FOR INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT
College of Saint Mary invites applications
and nominations for the position of Vice President for Institutional
Advancement.
CSM is a private Catholic college, founded by the
Sisters of Mercy, offering students a unique chance to learn and grow, to
develop their strengths and potential through excellent academics that combine
professional and career preparation with the liberal arts. CSM is the
only all women's college in a five-state area and one of 60 in the United States. We are located on
25 acres in the dynamic city of Omaha, NE (pop. 750,000), which provides vast
cultural, recreational and professional opportunities. Approximately a
thousand (1,000) students come from all regions of the United States and

This position reports directly to the President. The Vice President for Institutional
Advancement is first and foremost a member of the senior leadership team of the
College. In this capacity the VPIA works
with the president and the other vice presidents to plan for and execute
strategic initiatives. In particular,
the VPIA provides effective and sustained leadership to the Institutional Advancement
area and coordinates that work with the other divisions of the College to build
both social and financial capital.
We seek a proven leader with a baccalaureate
degree in addition to outstanding management, communications, team
building, and planning skills. The Vice
President must have the ability to represent a values-centered women's college
and work effectively with administrators, trustees, faculty, alumnae, friends
and corporate executives. This position
requires 3-5 years of management experience, fund raising experience and a high
level of energy, initiative, and creativity.
