Presidential Ambassadors are a prestigious group of students who promote the
mission of College of Saint Mary by guiding campus tours, participating in
student panels, and assisting with special events.

Why did you chose College of Saint Mary?
I love that it is a
small campus, and the fact that my classes are small and I get a lot of one
on one interaction with my instructors.
We have a very friendly atmosphere, I actually feel like I am at home
away from home.
What is your major and why did you choose it?
My major is Nursing and I chose
it as my major because of the satisfaction that I feel when I help my peers.
Why did you become a Presidential Ambassador?
I became a Presidential
Ambassador because I love meeting new people, making conversation and showing
off the campus!
What do you like best about College of Saint Mary?
The small campus and friendly
atmosphere. I also love that there are
so many leadership opportunities for everyone, and it is very easy to get
involved.
Where is your favorite place on campus and why?
I love the Hixson-Lied Commons
because of the big screen TV! I also
like it because I have an opportunity to see friends that don't live in the
dorms but hang out there in between classes.
What activities are you involved in at College of Saint Mary?
Resident Advisor, Star Caller,
Student Senate Executive, Multicultural Association of Students Executive,
Presidential Ambassadors, and Math and Science Club. I also graduated from
the Leadership Launch program and was selected to go the Leadership Institute
in Champaingn, IL.
What advice would you give to prospective students?
Be prepared to student and
learn.

Why did you choose College of
Saint Mary?
I like the small
classes, all girls equals no distractions, one on one relationship with
professors, and the professors really care.
What is your major and why did
you choose it?
My major is in Chemistry and Biology so I
can prepare for medical school. My minor is in Spanish so I can be fluent and
able to translate for patients and families.
Why did you become a
Presidential Ambassador?
I like
to meet prospective students and I am interested in touring and sitting on
student panels. Being a Presidential
Ambassador is a huge leadership position at CSM. I think I represent what the college is and
means for so many women.
What do you like best about
College of Saint Mary?
The
opportunities CSM has for so many women.
CSM is completely devoted to empowering women.
Where is your favorite place on
campus and why?
Math and Science Hall because I spend pretty
much all day every day in there, and the Coreen Barba Lounge is a great place to study.
What activities are you involved
in at College of Saint Mary?
President
of the Math and Science Club, Executive of the Green Team, President of
Students Against Violence, Presidential Ambassadors, Phonathon
caller, Achievement Center Tutor, and graduate of Leadership Launch 2009.
What advice would you give to
prospective students?
To
choose a school where you feel comfortable and will grow.

Education/Special Education, because I love to work around kids and see them

room! It holds a lot of memories and

I chose
College of Saint Mary because the Mothers Living and Learning program
provides an opportunity for me to obtain an education with my children.
What is your major and why did
you choose it?
Early
Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education with an
endorsement in English as a Second Language, because I want to make a
difference in students' lives.
Why did you become a
Presidential Ambassador?
I
became a Presidential Ambassador because it gives me a chance to promote all
the advantages the college has, and I like to meet new people.
What do you like best about
College of Saint Mary?
I like
the opportunities it provides single mothers.

campus and why?
The
Education room because I am able to get everything I need done in there.

prospective students?
CSM is
an excellent school that will provide assistance for many of your needs, and
the Education program is great because it really provides you the opportunity
to get hands on experience.

Why did you choose College of
Saint Mary?
I chose
College of Saint Mary because the nursing program seemed so advanced compared
to the rest. I also liked the small
close knit campus.
What is your major and why did
you choose it?
My
major is Nursing and my minor is Music.
I chose Nursing because I love meeting new people and helping others;
I feel that nursing will give me the that opportunity every day. I am also a Certified Nurses Assistant, so
that job experience also helped influence my choice.
Why did you become a
Presidential Ambassador?
I
became a Presidential Ambassador because it is fun to meet possible students
and help them in their college decision.
What do you like best about
College of Saint Mary?
I love
the friendly environment at CSM. In
just a couple of weeks I felt comfortable.
The small class sizes and living in the dorms makes for a friendly
environment in which I feel safe and comfortable.
Where is your favorite place on
campus and why?
My
favorite place on campus is the residence halls. I love hanging out in my room with friends,
doing hall activities, and other community activities. The dining hall is a close second.

Presidential
Ambassadors, Student Nursing Association, choir and intramural sports
What advice would you give to
prospective students?
Live in
the residence halls. It is a great
experience and it really opens the door to meeting new people, trying new
things, and participating in fun activities.

Saint Mary?
I chose
CSM because I wanted to go to a small college with small classroom
sizes. After being asked to play
soccer for school, I just coundn't turn it down.
What is your major and why did
you choose it?
Elementary
Education/Early Childhood Education because I have always wanted to teach
children and change lives.
Why did you become a
Presidential Ambassador?
I
became a Presidential Ambassador because I first was honored that I would be
selected, and second I wanted new ways to get involved in the school.
What do you like best about
College of Saint Mary?
I like
the small campus feel. I love that you
can have that one on one connection with your professors and no matter what
you need they are wiling to help.
Where is you favorite place on
campus and why?
My
favorite place on campus is either Hixson-Lied Commons or the residence
halls. The commons is so chill and a
nice place to hang out. The residence
halls are just fun and I like all the girls in my hall.
What activities are you involved
in at College of Saint Mary?
Soccer,
Campus Activities Board, Student Education Association of Nebraska,
intramural sports, Leadership Launch, and Presidential Ambassadors.
What advice would you give to
prospective students?
Come in
with an open mind to the school. I
never thought that I would love it as much as I would, but once you get in
the classroom and meet your professors it is truly different than what you
may expect.

I
wanted a college that would give me the opportunity to experience the college
while still being able to work full time.
What is your major and why did
you choose it?
Early

AWESOME everyone here is, including staff and students.

The
Achievement Center because it is a great place to study, relax, vent and learn.

Orientation Staff, Student Senate, Presidential Ambassadors, and Student
Education Association of Nebraska.
What advice would you give to
prospective students?
Remember
that college is the best time in your life so take the time to enjoy it and
you will always know you made the right choice.

I chose
CSM because of scholarship opportunities and it is easier to focus during

I became
a Presidential Ambassador because you get to know freshmen and new students,
and I love working in the Enrollment Office.

I like
the intramurals and good Christian values, and it is easy to stay focused.

My room
