Dr. Hoss has taught courses in Social Psychology, Child Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Research Methods, An Integrative Approach to Psychology, and Human Services Fieldwork. Her publications in Perception and Developmental Science relate to the development of face perception in infants and children. Dr. Hoss holds a B.A. from Creighton University, and a M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She joined CSM in 2003.
Dr. Burger has taught courses in Interviewing, Counseling, Group Dynamics, Psychology of Personality, Educational Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Forensic Psychology. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing therapy and assessments to a diverse population that includes Native Americans, African Americans, Latinos, and Caucasians. His treatment specialties are Anxiety Disorders and Oppositional-Defiant Disorders with Adolescents, and Forensic Psychology. Dr. Burger holds a B. S. from Loyola University, and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He joined the faculty in 1980.
Dr. Wernli, also serving as a statistics consultant at CSM, has taught courses in General Psychology, Lifespan Development, Child Psychology, Cultural Psychology, Research Methods, Psychology of Learning, Senior Seminar, and Survey of Human Services. Dr. Wernli earned both a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She joined the faculty in 2004.
