Meet the Faculty
Contact Jennifer
Dr. Reed-Bouley has taught in the areas of Catholic social thought and ethics since 1998. Her recent publications include "Anti-Racist Theological Education as a Site of Struggle for Justice," (Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, March 2012), "Student Employment and Perceptions of Service-Learning Courses," (Journal of Service Learning and Higher Education, 2012), and “Service-Learning, Catholic Social Teaching, and Mission,” in A Mission Officer Handbook: Advancing Catholic Identity and University Mission, edited by Michael Galligan-Stierle, Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, 2014. Dr. Reed-Bouley holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, a M.A. in Theology and a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics from Loyola University. She joined the faculty in 2004.   

Sister Aline teaches courses in Old Testament, Christian Spirituality and Prayer. Sister Aline has published commentaries on the Sunday Contact Alinescriptures for Discover the Bible, as well as articles on sacraments/liturgy and biblical foundations of immigration. Sister Aline holds a B.A. in French from Trinity College, a M.A. from St. Michael's College, a M.T.S., a Certificate in Biblical Spirituality and a Doctor of Ministry from Catholic Theological Union at Chicago, and a certificate of a year of study at l'Institut Supérieure de Liturgie at L'Institut Catholique de Paris, France. She joined the University in 2006.

Contact Eric
Dr. Kyle teaches courses in spirituality and directs the Service-Learning Program. Dr. Kyle’s research focuses on program development and on transforming pedagogies more generally. He has presented on such topics as inquiry-based approaches for teaching, the use of artificial intelligence in religious education, and contemplative education for secular settings. Dr. Kyle has also published two books, Living Spiritual Praxis and Sacred Systems. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in engineering from Texas A&M as well as a M.Div. and a Ph.D. in Religious Education and Spiritual Formation from the Claremont School of Theology. He joined the faculty in 2011.
