Marie Curie Scholars Program

Because CSM aspires to be the college of choice for women studying math, biology, human biology, or chemistry, we offer the Marie Curie Scholars Program. This prestigious program provides significant financial support and resources for academically talented young women interested in what have come to be called the STEM disciplines.

Marie Curie Scholars may receive up to $19,000 annually for four years in gift aid - as long as they continue to meet program requirements. Participants will also have access to academic support programs such as tutors, research opportunities, seminars, and student clubs.

To be eligible for the Marie Curie Scholars Program, you must meet the following requirements: graduate from high school by the semester prior to enrolling at CSM; have a composite ACT of 22 or above, or a verbal+math SAT of 1020 or above; have a minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.5; apply and be accepted to College of Saint Mary by the Marie Curie application deadline; major in math, biology, human biology, or chemistry. Note: Students accepted to the Physician Assistant Program are not eligible to receive the Marie Curie Scholarships.

Applications are competitive for three Marie Curie Scholarships offered each year, and require completion of an
application form, submission of an essay describing your interest in math or science, one letter of recommendation, a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and an interview with a CSM faculty member.
