Record numbers attend College of Saint Mary Golf Tournament

College of Saint Mary’s (CSM) Athletic Department hosted its 4th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Friday, May 30 at Stone Creek Golf Course in Omaha. This yearly 18-hole, best-ball tournament, which began in 2010, was once again a great success. The tournament set a new record of 40 teams, totaling 158 golfers. A post-tournament steak dinner and silent auction immediately followed the golf tournament.

“It was a beautiful day to play golf,” commented Athletic Director Jim Krueger. “We truly appreciate the financial support and generosity of our hole sponsors, donors and golf participants.” 

The tournament raised over $10,000 which will help support additional operating costs, enhance the student-athlete experience and assist in improving College of Saint Mary athletic facilities. The CSM Athletic Department wishes to thank everyone who participated in the tournament, as well as the individuals and businesses which sponsored holes and donated prizes to make this a successful event.
