Welcome Days a four-day introduction to CSM before classes begin. Start your journey with us at our Welcome Days Dinner, give back to the Omaha community through our Compassionate Service to Others Trip and make new friends at the Student Senate Casino Night.
Student Orientation Staff help incoming CSM students navigate Welcome Days! This is an elite student group who is selected through an application and interview process. Student Orientation Staff are chosen each spring and applications are open to any sophomore, junior or senior CSM student.
Powder Puff Football is an annual game that takes place during the fall semester! Sign-up is open to all students and is a chance to make new friends, as well as interact with faculty and staff coaches! An annual traveling trophy is awarded to the winning team!
The Involvement Fair happening each semester, interact with our 20 student organizations and find one that suits your interest. A complete listing of our student organizations can be found by clicking on the Clubs and Organizations link on the left!
Leadership Launch is an eight-week leadership seminar for first and second year students. Students are nominated by faculty and staff, followed by an application selection process. Leadership Launch includes job-shadowing opportunities, an etiquette dinner, a graduation and CSM Leadership Certificate. The eight-week seminar is taught by the Director of Residence Life and the Director of Student Leadership and Organizations.
Step It Up is a unique opportunity designed for upper class students (Juniors and Seniors). This series offers five workshops during the spring semester. These workshops are offered in 45 minute sessions and the topics are diverse in nature. The workshops allow students to receive useful information as they prepare to enter the professional world.
