The Student Development Division is proud of our commitment to community standards that make the University a productive and comfortable place for all members to learn and grow.
We promote behavior that is respectful of persons and policies/laws, and that recognizes a balance of the rights of individuals and individualís responsibility to the community. To that end we, provide learning experiences for students who are found to be responsible for violating the Student Code of Conduct.
We strive to help students grow into more responsible and community-minded persons. College of Saint Mary provides its students with an environment conducive to the pursuit of knowledge. Such an environment is based upon respect, trust, and integrity among all members of the community.
Caring for the needs of each person, contributing to the development of the whole person, and considering the needs of the college community are important attributes of College of Saint Maryís Student Development Division.
CSM students are both citizens and members of our academic community. A student enrolled at CSM assumes an obligation to conduct herself in a manner compatible with the Universityís function as an educational institution. Misconduct for which students are subject to discipline range from verbal reprimand to expulsion and referral for prosecution.
