CSM Christmas concert this Friday, Dec. 4

This Friday, December 4, CSM will present its annual Christmas concert in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel. This year's event will feature special guest artists, Octarium, along with the CSM Chorus, CSM Singers and Musica Sacra. The performance begins at 7:30 PM and the doors open 30 minutes prior to the concert. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students - and if guests bring a canned food item, they will receive a 50% discount on their tickets. CSM to host Athletic Open House, Dec. 6

This Sunday, Dec. 6, CSM will host an Athletic Open House for prospective students and their families. Events begin at noon and conclude at 3 PM. "We hope this event will highlight the experience we can offer our student athletes and showcase our six collegiate sports at CSM," said Jim Krueger, athletic director at CSM. Scheduled activities include: information sessions on financial aid & student development, group sessions with coaches and athletes in CSM's six sports (basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming and volleyball), campus tours, and a general overview of the athletic program at CSM. 

CSM students participate in Angel Tree program

Members of the Multicultural Association of Students (MAS) at CSM are encouraging their fellow students to participate in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program this holiday season. The program provides toys and stocking stuffers for low-income families in the Omaha area at Christmas. Students at CSM are asked to stop by the Student Leadership and Organizations Office and select an "angel" from the Christmas tree to buy a toy for - or, they can make a cash donation and members of MAS will shop for them.

CSM Chorus to perform at Alegent Bergan Mercy Hospital

On Monday, Dec. 7, the CSM Chorus will perform excerpts from their annual Christmas concert for the patients and staff at Alegent's Bergan Mercy Hospital. The performance will take place at 4:15 PM in the central atrium of the hospital.
