CSM Swimming takes to the pool again this
weekend
This Saturday, Dec. 12, the CSM Swim Team will host their second
home meet of the season - taking on Iowa Central Community College. The
competition begins at 5 PM in the Lied Fitness Center pool. Also, this past
weekend, the Flames competed in the UNO Invitational where the 200-yard Medley Relay team of Audree Uhlarik (special education major,
Omaha, Neb.), Kendra D'avila (nursing major, Omaha, Neb.), Kaity Greco (biology
major, LaVista, Neb.) and Katie Simpson (nursing major, Fort Calhoun, Neb.)
qualified for the 2010 NAIA National Championship Meet with a time of 2:08.85.
This marks the first-ever national
qualifiers in swimming from CSM!
CSM Chorus performs today at Alegent
Bergan Mercy Hospital
Today, Dec. 7, the CSM Chorus will perform excerpts from their
Christmas concert for the patients and staff at Alegent's Bergan Mercy
Hospital. The performance will take place at 4:15 PM in the central atrium of
the hospital.
CSM winter graduation activities Dec.
19 and 20
College of Saint Mary winter graduation activities will be held
Dec. 19 and 20 on the CSM campus. On Saturday, Dec. 19, a baccalaureate mass
will begin at 5 PM in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, followed by a master's hooding
ceremony at 7 PM. On Sunday, Dec 20, commencement will be held at 10:30 AM in
the Lied Fitness Center gymnasium with Sr. Marie Micheletto, RSM '62,
delivering the commencement address for the graduates.
The Eye of Collector exhibit in the Hillmer Art Gallery
An exhibit
featuring artwork from the private collections of a number of Omaha-area art
enthusiasts is currently on display in the Hillmer Art Gallery on the CSM
campus. The exhibit, The Eye of the
Collector, will be on display in the gallery through Dec. 20. Gallery hours
are: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30
a.m.-12:30 p.m.; and Closed on Sundays and University holidays.
