College of Saint Mary signs
first-ever swimming recruit
College of Saint Mary (CSM) is pleased to announce that Kaitlin Greco
has signed a letter of intent and is the first-ever recruit to join the new CSM
Flames swim team.
Currently a student at Ralston High School and graduating in May 2009, Greco was a River City All-Conference swimmer in 2009, a
three-time Nebraska State Meet Championship qualifier and a member of the
school's record-setting 200-Medley relay team. In addition to her
success in the pool, Greco was on the NSAA All-State and River City
All-Conference Academic Teams and a member of National Honor Society. She is
the daughter of Tom and Nancy Greco of Ralston.
"Kaitlin is exactly what I am looking for to join our new women's swimming program
at College of Saint Mary," said Head Swim Coach Rich Draper. "She is an
excellent student who works hard in the classroom and she also works hard in
the pool. We are very pleased she accepted our offer to become a student
athlete at CSM."
The CSM swim team kicks off its inaugural season of competition this fall.
