Education
BS in Biology, University of Nebraska at Omaha
MS in Biology, University of Nebraska at Omaha
PhD in Medical Sciences, University of Nebraska Medical Center
General Background
After completing her M.S. degree, Dr. Grove started who career in cytogenetics. She learned that her passion for higher education was worth going back to earn her Ph.D. Her dissertation research focused on novel genetic findings in pediatric oncology diseases. After graduation, she immediately began her position at CSM. Her time at the college has allowed her to teach a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level with her primary focuses in microbiology, genetics, immunology, and molecular biology. She currently serves as the pre-health advisor to students who are interested in pre-medicine, physician assistant studies, dentistry, and pharmacy.
