We’re so happy you have joined our College of Saint Mary community. Here you’ll find a number of items that will help you get acquainted with CSM including benefit options, what to expect on your first day, perks you receive as an employee, new hire paperwork and so much more!
Preparing for Your First Day
On your first day at CSM, you will be asked to complete new hire paperwork. In order to give you an opportunity to review the information ahead of time, you can find many of the documents here. If you complete these documents prior to starting your new role, please be sure to bring them with you on your first day.
Please bring proper documentation to complete your I-9 form. The documents must be originals, not photocopies; for a full list of acceptable documents click here.

- Your orientation journey will start in Walsh Hall, at 9 a.m. For directions please see our Campus Map.
- Parking is free in any unmarked space on campus.
- The College generally adheres to a business casual dress, but emphasizes that some positions and events may call for more professional attire. Examples of business casual include: for men – dress shirts and ties, suits, sport jackets, slacks, button-down shirts or sport shirts. For women – suits, dresses, jackets, blouses, button-down shirts, sport shirts, sweaters, slacks or skirts.
- Lunch on your first day will be hosted on campus in the CSM Dining Hall. Please inform your supervisor of any dietary needs.
College of Saint Mary offers employees a number of exceptional benefits—life insurance, health plans, and a retirement account, just to name a few. But those are only a small part of our fringe benefits offerings.
Make sure you sign up within 30 days of starting your new job. This site will help you get acquainted with all your options, prior to your first day. If you have questions around these benefits, please know that human resources is available to support you, and will discuss them in more detail with you on your first day.
