The Nutrition minor at College of Saint Mary gives students a strong foundation in how food choices affect health across the lifespan. Through courses in nutrition, food science and economics, lifecycle nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy, students gain practical, science-based knowledge in a supportive environment.

The Nutrition minor offers a strong, application-focused introduction to how food influences health at every stage of life. Students build a foundation in nutrition science and then connect it to real-world topics like food choice, food systems, and health outcomes through courses that examine both everyday habits and clinical nutrition.
- Basics of nutrition science, including macronutrients, micronutrients, dietary guidelines, and practical nutrition assessment tools.

- Applications open July 1 for the upcoming academic year. CSM follows a rolling admission process, reviewing applications as they are received. We encourage students to apply early for priority consideration for scholarships, housing, and financial aid.
