The need is clear. While women’s participation in sports continues to grow, women remain underrepresented in coaching, administration, and leadership roles. The Center for Women in Sports Leadership was created to help close that gap and create stronger pathways for women to lead.

DESIGNed for Impact
The Center is built to be part of the solution, bringing together students, industry leaders, and partners to open doors, create meaningful opportunities, and expand access. Through these connections, students gain real experience and support as they prepare to lead and shape the future of the sports industry.
Sports Management Degree
A new Bachelor of Science degree focused on the business of sports, preparing students for careers in management, marketing, operations, and leadership. With an emphasis on real-world experience, career readiness, and industry connections, the program is expected to launch in Fall 2027.
Living & Learning Community
A connected residential experience where students build community, strengthen leadership skills, and develop their professional identity alongside peers with shared interests in sports.
Industry Partnerships
Hands-on opportunities with organizations and community partners that give students real-world experience and direct exposure to careers in sports and athletics. These experiences include internships, volunteering, and research, helping students build skills and grow their networks.
Leadership Development
Workshops, networking, and applied experiences designed to help students build confidence, grow as leaders, and prepare for success in the sports industry. Students can connect with women leaders across the industry that provides real insight and meaningful career connections.
Character Development
Built on NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star recognition, students learn about integrity and accountability through mentorship, team experiences, and values-driven programming that prepares them to lead with purpose on and off the field.
