Dr. Christi Glesmann’s professional background is grounded in nursing practice and health professions education. She earned her associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in nursing, as well as a Doctor of Education in Health Professions Education, from the College of Saint Mary. At CSM, Dr. Glesmann is dedicated to preparing the next generation of nurses and healthcare professionals through student-centered teaching, inclusive pedagogy, and a steadfast commitment to excellence in education.

Her teaching and scholarly interests include nursing education, curriculum development, clinical competency, and educational strategies that foster equity, belonging, and student success. Dr. Glesmann strives to advance innovative, evidence-based teaching and assessment practices that support diverse learners, promote professional readiness, and strengthen the quality of nursing and health sciences education.


Professional Affiliations & Service

Dr. Christi Glesmann is actively engaged in professional service to nursing and health professions education at both the state and national levels. She is affiliated with the National League for Nursing (NLN) and the American Nurses Association (ANA), supporting initiatives that advance excellence, innovation, and inclusivity in nursing education and practice. Dr. Glesmann is also a member of the Nebraska Assembly of Nursing Deans and Directors, where she collaborates with academic leaders to strengthen nursing education across the state.

In addition, she is a former long-term member of the Nebraska Center for Nursing, contributing to efforts that support workforce development, educational quality, and the future of the nursing profession in Nebraska. Through these affiliations and service activities, Dr. Glesmann demonstrates a sustained commitment to professional leadership, collaboration, and service to the nursing community.
