General Background
Dr. O’Connor began her career in education after completing the FastTrack program at the College of St. Mary and receiving a Nebraska Educator Certificate. She taught middle and high school ELA while also earning her MAT from the College of Saint Mary and beginning the EdD program from the College of Saint Mary. She transitioned to higher education as an instructor in the Teacher Education Program at the College of St. Mary and earned her EdD with a focus on teacher stress management and emotion regulation. She enjoys supporting student success in her current role as the Coordinator for the Testing Center and Tutoring.
