General Background
Dr. Hoss’ graduate school research focused on infants’ and children’s preferences for and attitudes toward faces that vary in attractiveness, race, and femininity/masculinity. She has since focused her attention on stereotyping and prejudice of all types, and she enjoys teaching courses on gender, race relations, family relationships, culture, social interactions, and research methods.
