
OMAHA, Neb. – Mary Ann O’Brien, founder and CEO of OBI Creative and a nationally recognized branding and marketing thought leader, is the keynote speaker at College of Saint Mary’s (CSM) commencement ceremony on May 16.
Spring commencement is at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16 in the Lied Fitness Center Fieldhouse. CSM will graduate 187 students, including 46 doctoral degrees, 46 master’s degrees and 95 bachelor’s degrees.
A pioneer in modern marketing, O’Brien has led national and global strategic initiatives for Advanced Auto Parts, Creighton University’s Heider College of Business, Gateway, Intel, the Iowa Department of Transportation, Lenovo, Microsoft, Miller Electric, Nomi Health, Sony, Stericycle and ViewSonic.
O’Brien’s drive to find new and better ways to market and grow businesses is matched by her reverence for understanding customer’s needs. She authored the O’Brien Voice of the Customer™ and Voice of the Employee™, which feature business success stories. She’s the author of the Forbes’ book, “Ask and Deliver: Discover the Heart of Your Business by Listening to the Voice of Your Customers.”
A champion for women, diversity and ethical growth, O’Brien was the recipient of the Integrity Award from the Better Business Bureau.
A Baccalaureate Mass will be at 1 p.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel in Walsh Hall prior to the ceremony.
