Gain hands-on experience in the business and operations of art spaces. The Gallery Management minor prepares you to curate, manage and promote exhibitions in galleries, museums and creative organizations.
- Preparation for roles in galleries, museums and arts organizations
- Coursework in gallery operations, curation and exhibition design
- Training in marketing, promotion and event planning
- Hands-on experience managing and installing exhibitions
- Understanding of art sales, collections and audience engagement
- Enrollment in a degree program at College of Saint Mary
- Declaration of the minor through an advisor
- Good academic standing
- Completion of any necessary pre-requisites
