Through the generosity of the Mundy family, College of Saint Mary proudly offers the Maggie McCubbin Mundy Family Scholarship Fund — providing up to $3,500 in tuition support for students pursuing their Practical Nursing Certificate (PNC).
Established by Bob Mundy in honor of his wife, Maggie McCubbin Mundy, this fund reflects a deep gratitude for the compassionate care Maggie receives and seeks to inspire others to serve with skill, empathy, and dedication in the nursing profession
Scholarship Highlights
- Award Amount: Up to $3,500, divided equally over three terms of the PNC program.
- Focus: Supporting students with a passion for caring for others, especially in long-term care and memory care settings.
- Purpose: Reduce financial barriers and promote academic success for aspiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Application Process
- Submit your application to the Practical Nursing Certificate (PNC) program.
- Submit the Mundy PNC Scholarship application.
- Applications are reviewed by the Nurse Administrator and Director of Undergraduate Recruitment using a scoring rubric.
- Up to 4 scholarships will be awarded each cycle, with an additional 4 waitlist spots.
- Recipients will receive an award letter and scholarship acceptance form
