Add Business to Any Degree
Whatever you’re studying, a Business Minor gives you the practical edge employers look for: leadership, marketing, and the fundamentals of how organizations run. In just 18 credit hours, you’ll build skills that pair with any major and open doors in nearly any field.
The Business World is Calling
Business isn’t just a popular major, it’s one of the most in-demand degrees among women in the country. Nearly half of all business degrees are earned by women each year, and business consistently ranks as the second most popular field of study among women nationwide, trailing only health professions.

But according to McKinsey, popularity and power haven’t caught up to each other yet. Women hold just 29% of C-suite roles today, a figure that’s stayed flat for years, and remain underrepresented at every step of the leadership pipeline. That gap isn’t a ceiling. It’s an opening.
A business degree gives you more than a job title. It gives you the foundation, and better yet, the seat, to shape where an organization goes next.
And a business degree from CSM gives you a real head start toward it.
CSM’s mission, its belief in the power of women’s education and its support of students at any stage of life has been a catalyst for a life and career beyond what she ever imagined.

Business is one of the most popular degrees among women nationally, but leadership roles haven’t caught up to that popularity. At CSM, you’re not just earning a business degree, you’re building the confidence and voice to lead in one, in a program shaped specifically around women’s advancement.
The median annual wage for business and financial occupations is $80,920, well above the median annual wage for all occupations of $49,500, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Earning potential varies by concentration, with fields like finance and analytics often on the higher end.
