Flames Days brings the CSM community together through events, experiences, and traditions. It’s designed to help students feel connected, supported, and excited for the year ahead.

What to Expect

Your first days at CSM are about more than getting settled. Flames Days give you time to build friendships, explore campus, and ease into your new routine before classes begin.

Flames Day 7

Friday’s Caffeine Boost gives students a free drink from Christina’s Place while supplies last. The first 50 students to order also receive a free $5 drink, making it a simple morning perk

Flames Day 8

Saturday’s Movie Matinee lets students stop by the SLO for a free movie ticket. It’s a relaxed, low-key chance to enjoy a movie and take a break during Flames Days.

11:00 am – 11:30 am

Flames Day 9

Sunday ends Flames Days with a walk to the Aksarben Farmer’s Market alongside Student Orientation Staff. It’s a casual, community-building outing and a friendly way to wrap up the week.
