Enjoy a unique full-dome presentation with music, realized by Dr. Margot Fassler of Notre Dame University, the acknowledged authority on Hildegard of Bingen, with digital artist Christian Jara. The digital model, based on the medieval illuminations of Scivias, Hildegard of Bingen's first major theological treatise, depicts, stage by stage, her description of the cosmos and its creation, following the biblical text of Genesis 1. The event includes Dr. Fassler’s introduction to Hildegard and her work, and screening of the full-dome presentation.

Total duration: 55 minutes.

Hildegard of Bingen was a visionary, mystic, and creative genius. Her masterpiece, Ordo Virtutum, represents one of the great artistic feats of the medieval world. The haunting music and dance imagery will stay with you long after the performance. Dr. Christopher Krampe, CSM Fine Arts director, will be conducting this work in collaboration with Omaha Academy of Ballet with a music/dance combination. Don’t miss this  once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a live performance of Ordo Virtutum.
