Through art and poetry, this dynamic duo / mother and daughter team will give “Voice” to the Black Women of America from the 15th to 21st century, whose lives have been indicative of courage, honor and inspiration. These black women are given voice to triumph over oppression and racism, self-doubt and inequality as women. The Black Women of America were the first recorded American black women to achieve greatness in their fields and endeavors. Their contributions and sacrifices have created a positive “Voice” to the development of America, and the freedom of all Americans.
