Ignite the Flame Community Impact Award – Gina Mancuso-Prososki, Omaha Supernovas
A four-year letterwinner at Nebraska, Gina Mancuso-Prososki was a two-time All-American, a two-time first-team all-region selection, and a two-time unanimous first-team All-Big Ten pick. The Omaha native was part of two Husker teams to qualify for the NCAA Elite Eight. As a prep player at Papillion-LaVista High School, Mancuso-Prososki led the team to a state title in 2008. She was named the 2009 Gatorade National Player of the Year, the first-ever athlete from Nebraska to earn the accolade. Mancuso-Prososki has played professionally in Puerto Rico, Azerbaijan, Poland, Germany, Indonesia, and is currently a member of the Omaha Supernovas. She was inducted into the Omaha Sports Hall of Fame in 2023.
Ignite the Flame Co-Chairs – Michele D'Ercole Pohlman '93 and Michala D'Ercole Jacobson '94
Sisters Michele D’Ercole Pohlman and Michala D’Ercole Jacobson were student-athletes at College of Saint Mary.
Pohlman graduated with a social science degree and minors in theology and secondary education and was on the tennis team. She is a former Catholic high school theology and psychology teacher and campus minister. Pohlman is the executive director of a local private foundation and executive assistant for Kernen Partners, LLC. Pohlman enjoys volunteering for several Catholic organizations in Omaha. She and her husband, Brent, have five children and three grandchildren.
Jacobson graduated with an elementary and early childhood degree and was on the softball team. For over 20 years, she was a former softball coach, teacher, and administrator for the Archdiocese of Omaha Catholic Schools. She was also the head softball coach at CSM from 2003-06, where she led the team to Nationals. Jacobson is currently an assistant for Kernen Partners, LLC. She and her husband, Chris, have four children, one of whom is a CSM alumna.
Emcee – Ana Bellinghausen, Hurrdat Sports
Born and raised in Omaha, Ana Bellinghausen graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a journalism and media communication degree in May 2022. She hosts the podcasts From the 402, Mavericks All Access, Bluejay Breakdown, and Keep It Real for Hurrdat Sports. She sits on the advisory board for nonprofit FITGirl Inc. She has experience working with the Omaha Sports Commission, USA Curling, and Omaha Storm Chasers, and she spends time as a sideline reporter for Nebraska Public Media and as the Creighton Athletics team reporter.
