Mothers Living & Learning Program Gains National Attention

In May 2014, the Omaha World-Herald published a story about College of Saint Mary’s Mothers Living & Learning program. The story went national, published by nearly 50 media outlets across the country including the San Francisco Chronicle, Washington Times, USA Today and Florida Today. Read the story here.

We have welcomed single mothers and their children on campus since 2000. At the start, the families lived in Walsh Hall. In 2012, they moved into Madonna Hall, a $10 million residence built with suite style rooms and designed especially to accommodate mothers and their children. Madonna Hall has room for 48 mothers with two children each.
