The Special Education Minor

Designed to complement an education major, a special education minor will prepare you to work with students of different levels of ability including: high ability learners, mental disability, behaviorally impaired, visually impaired, hearing impaired, learning disabled, orthopedically impaired, speech language impairments, autistic, Asperger’s, traumatic brain injury, multiple and severely handicapped, physically disabled and health impaired.

For this minor, you must complete 21 credit hours of special education courses. Please see your advisor to determine the appropriate coursework to complement your major.
