Academic Community Engagement (ACE)
Academic Community Engagement (ACE) builds partnership with community into the core functions of the university--teaching and scholarship. In our increasingly interconnected world, ACE is equity-focused and strives to prepare graduates for productive engagement in an increasingly diverse democracy.
A faculty coordinator facilitates academic community engagement. A community engagement board comprised of staff and faculty from across the College oversees the culturally and community-engaged program/ course designation process and provides counsel and resources to the coordinator.

CSM Strategic Partners
Our community partners expand our students’ learning beyond the classroom. These partners lend perspective to our students’ academic interests through service and practical experience, while providing opportunities for people in the community to get acquainted with CSM and experience some of our pre-college programming.
