CSM gearing up for Homecoming Week

College of Saint Mary is set for its 2nd Annual Homecoming Celebration, Sept. 15-17. The events take place during CSM’s Mercy Week, Tuesday, Sept. 12 – Sunday, Sept. 24.

Some of the weekend events include an opening reception for Alumnae & Community Art Exhibit in Hillmer Art Gallery on Friday, and the 2017 Alumna Achievement and Athletic Hall of Fame awards luncheon, Saturday, from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Warde Conference Center.

On Sunday, all alumnae are encouraged to attend Liturgy in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, during which the class of 1967 will be inducted as CSM Figures of Wisdom. A celebration brunch for the newly inducted Class of 1967 will follow in Hillmer Art Gallery.

Mercy Week begins the day the University was founded, September 12, 1923, and concludes on Mercy Day, Sept. 24, 1827, the day the first House of Mercy was opened by Catherine McAuley, Foundress of the Sisters of Mercy in Dublin, Ireland.
