College of Saint Mary ranks among top schools for online master’s degrees
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary (CSM) was recently recognized as one of the best colleges for online master’s degree programs by OnlineMastersDegrees.org.
“College of Saint Mary’s online master's degree programs focus on the personal, student-by-student approach to education. Our online programs are not ‘prebaked’ for a generic audience. Rather, faculty with expertise in online education tailor the student experience according to the interests of students in the class. Students are known by name and genuinely cared about,” said Jeff Keyte, assistant dean of graduate health and professional studies.
CSM offers Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Master of Arts in Teaching programs online.
"Our organizational leadership master’s program is designed to give you the real-world skills and academic depth you need to become an effective, confident leader,” said Beth Minton, director of the MSOL program. “This isn't just textbook learning. You'll develop the practical mindset and hands-on abilities to guide change in today's complex organizations. When you're ready to take your career to the next level, we'll be thrilled to have you join our program.”
The MSOL program is aligned with the Association of Change Management Professionals, so students are on the path to the Certified Change Management Professionals (CCMP) credential.
“Our asynchronous online master’s in teaching program offers our students the flexibility of studying and completing coursework when it best meets their needs,” said Lisa Nelson, director of teacher education. “Coursework is relevant and timely and includes field work that places students in diverse classroom settings to better equip them for their student teaching experience. Students leave the program well prepared to be successful, effective teachers for our schools.”
CSM also offers a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies as hybrid programs.
The OnlineMastersDegrees.org research team analyzes thousands of programs to identify the schools providing the best online graduate education. They use metrics such as tuition affordability, online availability, student/faculty ratios and the availability of career support services.
To be eligible for the ranking, colleges must be accredited by an organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, have at least one program offered online and offer academic counseling and placement.
